About Calder Valley Flooring

Calder Valley Flooring has been established in Ripponden for over 11 years. Having expanded over the years, our flooring showroom is the largest it has been and offers a large range of finest quality flooring.

We pride ourselves on service and quality. Our floor fitting experts have over 25 years experience in the trade and are qualified to fit all kinds of flooring. They have also received specialist training in the fitting of wooden floors and LVTs.

We are based in Ripponden but also serve all surrounding areas including Hebden Bridge, Todmorden, and Manchester. Just give us a call, we are sure that we can make your dreams a reality. Calder Valley Flooring History

2013 – Started the Company

Lee & Sarah moved to the Ripponden area in August 2011, they very quickly fell in love with the village and decided this would be the forever home. When a local shop became available in 2013 they jumped at the opportunity and decided to move Lee’s work from Guiseley to Ripponden.

2014 – Second Location

We quickly outgrew our initial premises and moved over the road to a larger shop. This allowed us to have specific showrooms for our products.

2017 – This is Our Year!

Sarah joined the company at the beginning of the year to oversee the running of the shop. Sarah brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the business including design and commercial. Sarah has worked in the construction industry for many years and uses this knowledge to help customers where required.

2018 – Moving On Up!

This year is the start of something new! We have expanded and moved the flooring ranges to a larger showroom at commercial mills Ripponden with dedicated customer parking. A bigger showroom means a bigger team to help manage the store and marketing for the business.

2022- The Big One

Again, we were quickly outgrowing our third premises when we caught wind of a huge warehouse becoming available within the mills. We jumped at it and have spent the last year renovating it to its full potential, striving for perfection at every turn, dedicated areas for flooring and best carpets, with a huge selection of samples too. We are so pleased and proud of our new showroom and hope you are too when you visit!!

The Staff

Lee has worked in the flooring trade for nearly 20 years. He started as an apprentice working for his brother at the age of 17 where he has had the opportunity to learn all aspects of flooring such as carpet, vinyl, LVT, wood and concreate. Lee specialises in bespoke designs in Amtico Signature and carpet.

Sarah recently joined the company at the beginning of the year to manage our showroom in Ripponden. Sarah studied in construction management, specialising in design, commercial and contract management. Sarah’s knowledge and experience allows us to offer a specialist design service to our clients as well as overseeing the commercial and logistical side of the business.
