From start to finish our expectations have not only been met but totally exceeded by CVF, Lee and Sarah. After encountering some pretty awful structural issues at the start of the job Lee offered advice and a solution which was all organised swiftly with other trades to resolve it. He worked all hours to keep the job on time and even finishing ahead of schedule . Communication from both Lee and Sarah was second to none and Lee’s attention to detail has given us a beautiful floor beautifully finished! An excellent experience from walking into the showroom to completion of the project. All staff were exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and friendly, we were allowed to browse flooring at our leisure, and offered assistance when we required it. There was no attempt to up-sell, just to understand and meet our needs. On installation Lee was again exceptionally courteous, kept everything clean, neat and tidy and there was excellent attention to detail. Beautifully fitted carpets, by an expert fitter. Nothing was too much trouble and Lee listened and rectified all our previous issues with another contractor. Sarah personally collected samples that were not available in their showroom and delivered them to our home. Just wish we had used this company before going through the nightmare of having 3 lots of carpets fitted by another local company. We've had Antico floor laid through two rooms of our 16th century cottage. This must of been one of the most challenging jobs Lee and the team have faced as the floor was uneven and every wall had to be hand scribed to perfection. Amazing service by Calder Valley Flooring. Friendly, caring and clearly experts in their knowledge.
They couldn't have made the process any easier for us and less stressful. From the first visit by Sarah, to measure our hall, stairs and landing. Her expert advice on the type of carpet that would be best for the footfall and with us being pet owners was appreciated. We were given lots of samples and time to contemplate and make a decision with no pressure.
On the day of fitting, from the removal of our old carpet to the fitting of the new carpet, the care and attention to detail from Daisy and Lee was incredible! They planed our doors, we had all new door frames put in. Daisy even hoovered through afterwards! And our newly decorated hall, stairs and landing did not have a single scratch or scuff anywhere - something I had assumed was likely inevitable.
Unbelievable service, will definitely use again and I couldn't recommend them highly enough!
