Calder Valley Flooring Ltd Website Terms & Conditions

When accessing this website (“Site”), you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions as described below and you are consenting to entering an agreement with Calder Valley Flooring on the basis of the terms and conditions set out below.

We may revise this agreement at any time by posting revised terms which would take immediate effect. It is the responsibility of the consumer to check for such changes on a regular basis.

Payment

Online Sales – All goods must be paid for in full at time of order. Cancellations or alterations cannot be accepted once the rug has been ordered to original specifications.

Delivery Of Rugs

All deliveries are subject to a delivery charge.

Delivery is a flat fee of £10 and will be made between the hours of 8.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Prior to your order being dispatched, you will be notified and advised of a delivery date. Please ensure someone is available to receive your order at the address you have nominated. Once goods have been dispatched we are unable to change the delivery address.

Due to practical restrictions, we currently don’t deliver to Ireland.

We aim to deliver all goods within 5-10 working days, however we do ask that you allow up to 28 days for items which may be out of stock at the time.

We are not obliged to offer any compensation of the goods if they are not delivered within this timescale. Confirmation and updates will be provided via email (subject to the correct email address being entered when placing the order).

Please note delivery is UK mainland only. If you require delivery outside of the UK, please contact us direct to arrange delivery.

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered. They will then be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Rug Cancellations & Returns

We have a no returns policy unless the item that has been purchased has been received damaged or faulty.

Please note, whilst every effort is made to accurately reproduce the appearance of each rug we stock – we cannot accept any responsibility for any colour misrepresentations. Different colour display settings on computer monitors can have an effect on the appearance of colours in our rug images. You can still return your rug for a refund, however they will not be deemed faulty and you will be responsible for the return costs.

Custom made products are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed. Please ensure that the information is correct at the time of placing the order, these includes but not limited to measurements, colours, material. Whilst every effort is made to manufacture to the correct size, slight variations are unavoidable. There may be a tolerance of up to +/-5%.

Shedding is a natural characteristic of a deep pile rug and is not deemed to be a fault. This is common on Acrylic and Wool rugs and should be taken into consideration when choosing a product suitable rug for your home.

Calder Valley Flooring Ltd Rights To Cancel The Contract

We may cancel the contract between us if:
  • The goods you have ordered are unavailable for any reason
  • We are unable to deliver to your area
  • There is an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract for either of these reasons we will notify you by e-mail and provide you with a full refund. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

Damaged Goods

In the unlikely event that the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged / defective, or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, you must notify us within 24 hours of receiving it. A photo of the damage/fault is required prior to arranging collection of goods.
We will then, at our option:

  • make good any shortage or non-delivery; or
  • replace any rug that following our inspection are damaged or defective; or
  • refund the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
Please note that any faulty or damaged items will need to be collected prior to any refund being made.

Warranties

There are no warranties with the supply of rugs.

Force Majeure

For events beyond our control, Calder Valley Flooring Ltd take no liability for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered by any event or circumstance such but not limited to strikes, breakdown, industrial strikes, network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
