An exceptional experience using Calder Valley Flooring from start to finish.
The showroom in Ripponden is well stocked and well laid out. We liked that their showroom floor incorporated examples of designs and helped to give ideas of what could be achieved.
We were after Amtico flooring to match existing rooms which CVF had laid 11 years previously. Sarah was very helpful during her home visit and brought samples and suggested patterns and details which could work in situ.
Manny’s communication was also very good in keeping us to date with where we were at in the installation process as several further visits were needed.
We cannot praise Lee enough for the actual work in laying the floor. He spent time painstakingly designing the pattern on top of the screed making sure it looked right and we were happy with it before setting it in place. The herringbone pattern is extremely well balanced with the arrow heads perfectly in line with the various door openings.
It took Lee the best part of another day to lay the border which showed his attention to detail. A superb job with an amazing finish.
Thank you to the whole team for a smooth professional experience with a finished floor we are delighted with. We strongly recommend this company and would certainly use them again especially as they also do carpets and wooden floors!

Calder Valley Carpet really went above and beyond to help me during my carpet installation. I had a terrible woodworm problem that had been treated years prior but had left the wood weak in places. The fitter recognised that simply putting carpet over would not be the best and that it really needed strengthening. They worked with me delaying the installation until it could be sorted. The stairs fitter was exceptional, and strengthened the stairs to allow for an absolutely stunning fit of the Westex Elysian Divine Velvet. It is like walking on a warm hug. Thank you so so much for helping me.

Would 100% recommend CVF for any flooring needs - I’ve had both solid wood (supply only) and carpet (supply and fit) - both services were brilliant. The staff in the office/showroom are super helpful in recommending products and the carpet fitter did a fantastic job, clean and tidy and really happy - will be returning for future flooring

We began looking for someone to replace our hall, kitchen/diner and downstairs toilet flooring several months ago. Nobody particularly filled us with confidence. This totally changed on the first visit we made to Calder Valley Flooring. They instantly filled us with confidence and a feeling of "these people know exactly what they're talking about!"
Sarah in the showroom, Lee with the survey and Craig with the fitting all showed exactly the level of professionalism we were looking for and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result.
Communication was great and always very friendly and every question asked (and I asked a lot) was always answered professionally and in a helpful manner.
I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone thinking of new flooring!

I waited 23 years for our hall, stairs and landing to be redecorated and carpeted. We looked around several carpet businesses and paid a visit to CVF which is just a stone’s throw away from us. A fantastic business. Not a bit ‘pushy’ but ready to give knowledgeable and good advice. Great communication from Sarah and Lee throughout the process, from measuring up, ordering and the fitting. What a tremendous job Lee has done. We are thrilled with the carpet- our hallway etc has been transformed! We have no hesitation in recommending this local business and will definitely be back as I want the dining room doing next (hopefully less than 23 years!). I can’t thank Sarah and Lee enough, I’m just thrilled with the result.
